✨ REOPENING UPDATE ✨

We are very grateful for all your messages of support regarding the restaurant reopening, and we’re so happy to hear that you’re all as excited about it as we are!

Unfortunately, the work is taking a little longer than expected, and we really appreciate your patience. We’ve had lots of people asking for an opening date, and as soon as we can confidently give you a date, we will announce it on here.

We can’t wait to welcome you all back into the restaurant. Not much longer now… 🍛

Things are looking very different now and we can’t wait to welcome you back and show you the new look! We know saying goodbye to the booths won't be easy for any of us, but we really hope you like what we've done with the place 🙏

The new flooring is nearly all down, and we’re now starting to see the exciting transformation of the restaurant!

We love the contrast of the deep black glossy tiles, gold marble effect and gold grout, especially with the reflections of the lights and chandeliers. ✨

Still a way to go, but we think it’s going to be worth the wait…

Also, thank you to everyone for all the messages of support and for helping us to spread the word. We really appreciate it and can't wait to see all of you in the restaurant when it reopens. We still don't have a definite date yet but are hopeful it will be around the end of this month 🙏

In the meantime, our kitchen is still open for takeaways (and for anyone wanting to take a sneaky peak) 😉

As with all renovations, things had to look a little worse before they could look better! 😅

No more carpet. No more woodchip walls. No more booths!

We’ll admit, seeing the restaurant looking like this made us a little nervous… but we’re so excited to now see the transformation taking place.

The amazing team at Bloomsand Brick are doing a fantastic job of turning this space into a modern, welcoming restaurant that we hope you’re all going to love as much as we do. ❤️

We won another award! 🤩🏆

This has come as a complete surprise. We didn’t think we could be any happier than when we won the Gillingham Business Award for “My Favourite Business”, but to then have been selected for the North Dorset Award against other local towns has made us beyond proud. 😊

Winning the Gillingham Award was actually the thing that spurred Mohammed on to get started with the renovations and reopening. The realisation of just how well supported he was gave him the motivation he needed to reopen the restaurant and do everything he could to make it the buzzing heart of the town that it has been before, and hopefully will be again!

THE RUMOURS ARE TRUE… 📣

If you’ve visited us recently, you may have noticed a few changes happening behind the scenes.

Well, we can finally tell you!

We’re reopening the restaurant with a brand new look. 🎉

After a year of the restaurant being closed, we’re so excited to be bringing dining in back. We’ve continued with takeaway and delivery, but many of you have been asking when you'll be able to come and enjoy a meal with us again.

All being well, we’ll be opening later this month, with the official date coming very soon.

For now, please help us spread the word (we'd love to see plenty of familiar faces when those doors open!) 🫶

36 years, countless memories, and hopefully many more to come.

Gillingham, we can’t wait to welcome you back to the restaurant!
