Please note the Derwent Valley Railway Path at Rowlands Gill Viaduct will be closed from Monday 2 March, for approximately two months. Full closure of the bridge is required to allow for essential structural and masonry repairs.

Local diversions for pedestrians and cyclists will be in place during the closure. Please be advised that some of the diversions for cyclists incorporate traveling along a highway. Pedestrian diversions include unsurfaced tracks, stiles, and steps.

Please plan in advance, allow extra time for your journeys, and follow on-site signage.
