Exciting New Event - Date for your Diary

Calling all supporters of Bryson's animal shelter, particularly, but not exclusively, those people who have welcomed a Bryson's dog into their lives.

Exciting news!

Join our 'Bryson's Bark and Stroll' dog-walking event at Watergate Forest Park, Gateshead NE11 9RQ on Sunday 18th October, 2026. Meet outside the cafe at 10am.

Please dress for the weather. This circular, 45 - 60 minute walk (1.4 miles) is largely flat and on good paths, however the ground can be muddy and uneven in places, and there are steps at one side of the waterfall.

Tombolas with human and dog prizes and a dog 'lucky dip' will be happening at Watergate cafe.

Ample free parking is available at the venue and a range of delicious refreshments are on sale at the cafe.

There is no charge to participate in the dog walk, but if you'd like to make a donation on the day, all money donated, and funds raised through the tombolas etc will go towards the much needed rebuilding of our top kennel block. Please help us by bringing cash if possible.

All dogs, whether rehomed from Bryson's or not, are welcome to join the fun at this fantastic venue, recently voted the North East's best autumn walk of 2026.

Please share with friends and any groups you may be a member of.

Do come and join us on 18th October:
Be part of something Bryson's.
