Cobble Hey Farm & Gardens

Cobble Hey Farm & Gardens Hidden away in rural Claughton near Garstang is Cobble Hey Farm & Gardens This transition has resulted in the Millers opening the gardens to the public in 2002.

Cobble Hey has been a working hill farm since 1681 and still raises a wide range of sheep and beef cattle breeds. Set in a delightful location with stunning views over the Forest of Bowland, the farm is a rural beauty spot. In the last 10 years Dave and Edwina Miller have lavished their attentions on the extensive gardens adjacent to the farmhouse. Since then, thousands have visited the farm and b

een able to share in its sheer beauty and tranquility. The farm and gardens have so much to offer with the tea room serving delicious cakes and snacks, using local produce, some of which is produced on the farm. There is also a small gift shop where you can buy unusual gifts. Plant-lovers can also purchase specialist plants from the farm’s nursery. We have a variety of animals on the farm including our rare breeds of sheep and cattle, kune kune pigs, chickens, pygmy goats and minature ponies. Lamb feeding, goat walking and animal petting is daily at 11.30am, 2.00pm and 4.00pm. We also have an indoor play barn. In here you can find our straw maze, ride-on tractors, home corner, table tennis table and pool table to enjoy during your visit. The Millers have also worked in conjunction with Countryside Rangers and the RSPB to establish farm walks and information boards. Cobble Hey has something for everyone. Don’t pass up a great opportunity to get closer to nature!
