Firstly, thank you to everyone who applied for the front of house position, we’ve now managed to fill the position. We appreciate everyone taking the time to pop down with their CV, so thank you!

Secondly, we have this lovely special on this week! Our Perch Platter - home-cured and smoked duck breast & pork fillet, salami, homemade flatbread, hummus, tomato relish & olives. Available on our lunch menu from 12pm.

We’re looking for a new member to join our front of house team!

We’re looking for someone who is
- Friendly - our customers are great and love a wee chitchat
- Good at multitasking - it can get super busy in the cafe, can you cope under a bit of pressure?
- Reliable - reliable weekday cover is necessary now there are little members of the family that need looking after!
- Passionate about good food/coffee - we put our heart and soul into our cooking/baking/coffee-making and would love to work with someone who understands and appreciates that
- Bonus points if you have barista training, but not necessary. If you’re into good coffee, we should be able to offer some training to build on that!

Does this sound like you? Then please drop into the cafe this week to hand in a CV and say hi (we’re open again from Wednesday).

Must be available to work Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, option to also work Saturdays! Approximate working hours are 9:30am-4:15pm. Lunch & drinks provided on shift & a fair share of tips at the end of each day!

Trialling something a little new…

Homemade syrups for our coffees! Our chai syrup has always been homemade (and apparently it’s up there with the best), so we thought we better make our vanilla & caramel syrup homemade too!

All natural ingredients, no added artificial flavours. Caramel syrup is made with caramelised sugar, water, salt & a dash of vanilla bean. Vanilla syrup is sugar, water, vanilla bean & a pinch of salt.

Roast vegetable tagine (think warming harissa spices, Bold Bean Co chickpeas, roast aubergine, pepper, sweet potato & courgette). Served with herby couscous, baba ganoush, hummus & flatbread.

As usual, everything is homemade and absolutely delicious!
