Laura's Cakes Laura's Cake Company specialises in cakes and cupcakes for all occasions.

My love of baking began in 2014 when I graduated university and started working as an assistant manager and baker at a cafe/restaurant in Musselburgh. I bake a range of different cakes, traybakes and scones on a daily basis and enjoy experimenting with different flavours and techniques.

Samantha and Matthew chose a 3 tier all white cake with beautiful fresh flowers from tweedblooms, all vanilla sponge with a gluten free top tier. Completely white/plain cakes are always the hardest to do as there’s no room for any mistakes!
They also had a dessert table with brownies, blondies and cheesecakes.
For their favours they chose Scottish tablet, tied with a pink ribbon and personalised sticker

On Friday I delivered Alison and Greg’s wedding cake and favours to the lovely runningburn_weddingvenue, they chose a 4 tier textured cake with their little dogs Poppy and Pippa having a part in it! And Beautiful fresh flowers on the top from .

They also chose personalised biscuits as their favours which doubled up as place names, I won’t say how many hours these took but I loved the finished result!

There was over 200 guests so aswell as the 4 flavours in the cake we added an additional fruit cake and white chocolate and raspberry cake as cutting cakes, these are cut up in the evening to add more portions without needing to change the size of the wedding cake!
I loved playing a part in this wedding 🥰💜
