Bingo 👏👏

Just had our first night of bingo at the ship inn and it went very well 👌🏼

We will be doing bingo every Monday night at 7:30 eyes down 👀

Tuesday is darts 🎯 and doms

Wednesday is free pool 🎱

Thursday we have our kitchen open and it’s quiz night 😉

Friday we have our kitchen open 🍔

Saturday kitchen open 🍔

I’m looking at doing open the box on Fridays. What’s your thoughts 🤷‍♀️

Just a quick reminder that unless you have pre-booked to see the match, you will be refused entry after 11pm tonight and if you're already in, you will be asked to leave at our usual closing time. Anyone wanting to join us early Monday morning for the match needs to let us know for lunch time tomorrow 😉

Now it gets serious. 😁 KO is 1am. We will be open until 30 minutes after the final whistle or 5am, whichever comes first. You need to book your place though as there is limited availability so come to the pub and get your name on the list before 5pm Saturday so we know numbers. We will be selling breakfast rolls at half time, £3 for sausage or bacon and £4 for sausage and bacon but you will need to order & pay for your roll when you book your place. On Friday 10th July 2026, Morton Football Club will be hosting a fundraiser in support of one year old Ivy-Mai and her family.

Kick off is at 7.00pm, and everyone is welcome to come along, pull on a pair of boots, and take part for a £10 donation. Whether you’re playing or simply cheering from the sidelines, your support will make a real difference.

We would also like to say a huge thank you to Horsley’s Gainsborough, Tinker Housing, Willow Construction, and Ultimate Graphics for each making a generous £50 business donation towards the fundraiser. Your kindness and support are greatly appreciated.

💜 Ivy-Mai’s Story

Thank you to everyone who has supported Ivy-Mai and her family so far. Your generosity, kind messages and donations have meant more than words can express during such a difficult time.

Sadly, Ivy-Mai has now been diagnosed with a rare variant of mitochondrial disease called POLG disease. Her family have been told that there is currently no treatment or cure, and doctors have given Ivy-Mai a life expectancy of between one and four years.

This is truly devastating news, and the family are heartbroken as they try to come to terms with such an unimaginable diagnosis.

Every donation will help support Ivy-Mai and her family as they face the challenges ahead, helping to provide any specialist equipment, adaptations, care and support she may need, while allowing her loved ones to focus on making precious memories together.

To coincide with the football KO at 5pm, we will be opening the kitchen on Wednesday from 4 til 6.30 so you don't have to rush your tea. 😁 You will also be able to get a pint for £2 when bought with any burger.
