Lamb and Fountain "Mother" has been the landlady here since 1969 and kept it a 'proper' pub with traditional standards - just like the good old days: welcoming and sociable.

Mother's funeral will take place at 12.30 on Tuesday 30th November at Trinity Church, Frome with the wake at the Rugby Club - all welcome.
No flowers, thankyou, but any donations will go to the Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance Service. Sue

Huge thanks to our staff and also our customers for giving us a brilliant first day.
For clarification, we open every day (including Sundays) and close about 8pm whilst the current restrictions apply.

Musical tribute to Big Al (aka Alan Newcombe) tomorrow, Sunday, from about 5pm at the Lamb & Fountain. Paul Kirtley plus others will be playing and singing some of Alan's old favourites. If you would like to perform yourself just come along, otherwise enjoy Paul's versatile renditions.
After singing and playing here for about 25 years, Alan is still sadly missed.

Kay had asked that donations from the Lamb & Fountain be put towards this floral tribute to Alan. She thoughtfully brought it to the pub so customers could see it. (Note the Chelsea colours 😀 ) and I'm passing on her thanks to staff and customers.
