It’s with great sadness that we hear of the passing of Martin Bax. Martin negotiated a deal with us on the bar takings for the first ever food feast which enabled the event to happen.
Martin liked Funky Monkey & often took a barrel up to the Highlands to see his brother, a tradition that he kept up until
2023.
He will be sorely missed. Cheers Martin 🍺🍺

We’ll be tasting a range of wines, sharing tasting notes and choosing some potential new favourites for the pub.

We’re open from 4pm.

Quiz night tonight so get your team together and grab a table.

Kitchen open from 5.30pm serving all your Thai favourites.

On the bar: Cryopop – Fresh Keg

Bright, punchy and very drinkable. Expect a burst of tropical fruit straight away, mango, pineapple and a bit of peach, backed up by citrus and a soft resin edge. Light body, smooth bitterness and a clean finish that keeps you going back for the next sip.

Fresh, lively and tasting exactly how it should.
