We are going to adapt our opening hours for the next few days. Staff / volunteers are struggling with heat and the park is mostly empty.

So we will be closing today at 3pm.
Thursday 13th August open from 8am -12pm
Friday 14th August open from 8am - 10.30am (staff availability issues)
Saturday 15th August 8am -5pm (Civic imaginations film event and Carnaval fun day)

August is packed with fun, creativity and community at Victoria Park Community Café! Whether you’re looking to get crafty, explore nature, or enjoy local films, there’s something for everyone.

✨ 7th August – Free Nature Detectives Activities & Climate Films
A fun-filled morning for all ages with nature-themed activities and inspiring climate films. Perfect for curious young explorers! (Children must be accompanied by an adult.)

🎨 11th & 18th August – Creative Workshops
Get creative with our £10 workshops from Make My Day Creative Club.
🧶 11th August – Macramé Rainbow
🎨 18th August – Seascape Painting
Booking essential.

🎬 15th August – Community-Led Film Screening
Join us for a free screening of six short films created by Frome residents, followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers and researchers. Drop in, grab a free drink and celebrate local stories.

There’s plenty happening this August, so pop in, bring your friends and family, and enjoy everything our wonderful community café has to offer. We can’t wait to see you!
