The Cornish Ice Trike

Hi Folks, I’ve been super quiet as after going through a life crisis and needing to step back I moved to be nearer my family and things have snowballed from there and I have news!!!

I went from having the most horrendous year loosing someone special very suddenly and back into a state of deep grief to suddenly everything I’ve manifested is now coming into place and it’s time to move the trikes on.

Below is the picture of my new venture the little cafe on the corner in Polruan, Cornwall a stones throw from my house and it’s looking like this is a secure long term thing now.

Please follow Willow’s Pantry as she is now named and I hope to see you for breakfasts, light lunches, crepes, cakes, pasties, cream teas, high teas, world food specials and anything else I can squeeze out of the tiny kitchen!
I will be selling locally grown plants, mushroom kits, locally made essential oils and honey and I might even sling my vintage clothing outside! We have amazing art by local artists, books to riffle through and little table games. It’s going to be a charming place full of my favourite things and I can’t wait to welcome you.

So my thoughts now turn to my beloved Cornish Ice Trike and how much I’ve loved this little business and how much I’d love for someone else to take it on as I just don’t have the time.

She’s a great little start up business for those who can’t work a lot but also you could go for it! and the weddings are always enjoyable. Campsites would be a good call as well as other events and corporate work. There is so much potential with it.

It’s a lovely job and I’m on hand to help anyone take her on. The hardest part is towing the trailer really but even that is easy to learn!

There is a steady stream of enquiries and it could do more should you wish it. It’s enabled me to get on the ladder and it could absolutely do the same for you as there are still only a few trikes about in the South West.

I’m afraid I’m going to be even slower at responding to peoples emails as unfortunately the lovely man I’d just met has died and I’m utterly devastated and heartbroken.

So any enquires for 2025 will need to be made later in the year as always but it’s just not on my priority list right now.

If you would like the trike this year then please send me a message, but I can’t think beyond this year right now.

Another season over as I put the ice trike to bed for another winter.

Thank you to all of my lovely couples who booked me, I’ve loved coming to your happy days this year, there have been some amazing memories made and lovely banter as always with your guests.

I’m opening my books for next year now so if you’d like to have ice cream at your wedding or event do get in touch to reserve your date.

I’m currently attending a website building course so that should all be updated soon!

I spent a few hours watching the wonderful Maryse this evening who when I told her as I queued up last week about the trikes and considering crepes she instantly offered to teach me.

She has been doing this for 43 years and loves her job. She’s travelled all over the world making crepes and would send her hot plates over first then joint them so she could work as soon as she arrived! 😎💪🏼 Yassss gurl!

She uses recipes from her grandmother and she is passing them onto me 😱💞 for the love of crepes! How cool is this?!

Crossing my fingers I can get to Concarneau tomorrow to have a practical lesson!
