SPOTTED SOMETHING DIFFERENT AT RUBY’S?

No, we haven’t accidentally ordered the wrong equipment.

RUBY’S OWN ICE CREAM IS ON THE MOVE!

After months of testing, tasting and refining behind the glass at our Newquay HQ, our very own luxury Cornish ice cream is slowly making its way out into the wider Cornish world.

Made by us, right here in Cornwall, with a little inspiration from the gelato masters in Italy and plenty of Ruby’s personality thrown in.
So next time you visit Fowey, Marazion or Mevagissey, have a good look in the cabinet. You might just spot something new.

The rollout is happening gradually, with familiar favourites and some rather exciting new flavours joining the line-up as we go.
Come and give them a try. We’ve done quite enough taste-testing ourselves. 🍦❤️

PAINT + LICK IS BACK!
You lot loved this one so much last time that we’ve brought it back and this time there are three sessions to choose from.

Join us at Ruby’s Mevagissey with local ceramic artist Sarah Hunkin for a relaxed morning or evening of painting, ice cream and harbour-side creativity.

You’ll paint your own ceramic hanging decoration, with Sarah on hand to provide all the materials, guidance and artistic wisdom required.

We’ll provide the sundae. Obviously. 🍨

THREE DATES:
🎨 Monday 12th October — 11am 🎨 Monday 12th October — 6.30pm 🎨 Monday 26th October — 6.30pm
🎟️ £30 per person

Your ticket includes your ceramic decoration, all paints and materials, guidance from Sarah, professional firing and a Ruby’s Sundae.

📍 Ruby’s Ice Cream, East Wharf, Mevagissey

Your finished piece will be fired after the event and ready to collect approximately three days later.

Spaces are limited and advance booking is essential. Tickets are available exclusively from Ruby’s Mevagissey, pop into the parlour to book and pay for your place.

No artistic talent necessary. Ability to eat a sundae preferred. 🎨🍦

SEPTEMBER IN FOWEY 💙🍂

Summer crowds might be thinning, but Fowey certainly isn’t packing up for the year…

There’s still plenty happening this September; exhibitions and art, sailing on the estuary, craft fairs, live music, waterside walks, a spot of yoga, the odd cruise ship rolling into town… and, naturally, plenty of opportunities for an ice cream. 🍦⛵️

This weekend alone brings the St Fimbarrus Craft Fair, an art exhibition at the Royal Fowey Yacht Club, sailing on the water and even The Pirates of Penzance at Place. Later in the month there’s more live music, Oktoberfest and Le Lapérouse sailing into Fowey Harbour.

And then there’s our favourite September activity of all: absolutely nothing.

A wander through town. A walk along the coast. Watching the boats come and go. Finding a sunny spot by the water and stretching out those last golden Cornish afternoons for as long as possible.

Fowey in September. Still very much open for business. 💙

And yes, so are we. 11am–9pm. 🍦
