A sad day for us today at The Old Deli, as Jamie works his very last shift with us. He has decided to take some well-earned time off to go travelling and explore new opportunities.
Jamie has worked with us since he was a teenager – and let's just say he's no longer a teenager! I think it's safe to say that he's a friend first and a colleague second to all of us at the Deli, and he will be sadly missed by both the staff and our customers alike.
We'd like to thank Jamie for all his years of hard work and for the many laughs along the way, thanks to that razor-sharp wit of his. Our door will always be open to him should he ever want to dip his toes back into hospitality. He assures me, though, that his toes are staying dry.
Good luck with your travels and whatever comes next, Jamie. You'll always be part of The Old Deli family.
