What a lovely surprise we got this morning. We had a visit from 3 ladies from the Tuesday Social Club, a club that LAD have provided transport for, for many years. Sadly the club has now come to an end and the ladies in the club have very generously given us an amazing donation of £1200.
We are overwhelmed and extremely grateful for their generosity.
It's been a real pleasure transporting them around over the years and we will miss them all very much.

Great excitement at LAD today, especially for the Transport Team. We are awaiting delivery of our new electric minibus, funded by the Energy Saving Trust - Plugged in Communities fund. We are very grateful for this and for their belief in the work we do in our community. Now the question is, who gets to drive it first, Caroline? Donald? or John? Happy days.

Everyone at LAD would like to thank our cook Julie for producing such a wonderful spread for our afternoon tea on Saturday. We all appreciate her very much. The total raised on the day was £432 which is brilliant.

A huge "thank you" to Liz Macmillan for her donation of £500 which is very much appreciated and will go towards furthering LAD'S work in the community.
Liz kindly chose LAD for her March fundraising activities and raised this superb sum.
James Russell, volunteer and board member, was delighted to receive a cheque from Liz.
Thank you again Liz.
