Classic charm from the minute you arrive🏰✨

Nestled in beautifully kept gardens, the historic Edwardian facade of the Ramnee welcomes you to a perfect blend of tradition and comfort. Your Moray retreat is waiting⏳

The house was built by Richard Hamblin upon his return from the civil service in India. He named it after Ramsey in Cambridgeshire, but the local Indian pronunciation was tricky, resulting in the name "Ramnee".

This week, we’re introducing you to the lovely Liz! ❤️

The team absolutely love Liz, and we can all collectively agree that she is one of the sweetest people we know. 🥰 Since joining us at The Ramnee, she’s settled in wonderfully and has become a much-loved member of the team.

So, we thought it was time to get to know Liz a little better…

💬 How long have you been at The Ramnee?

“I’ve been at The Ramnee for 4½ months. It’s been interesting and challenging moving to a new side of customer service, but equally enjoyable.”

🍽️ What’s your favourite dish on the menu?

“The Superfood Salad! Although, I wasn’t keen on steak until one of our chefs made some for me… now I love it!” 🥩❤️

✈️ What’s the most unique place you’ve travelled to?

“I have family in New Zealand, so I would have to say New Zealand. I think it has incredible scenery and coastline.”

Liz also told us she absolutely loved the vineyards while visiting, and finds the Māori culture fascinating. 🇳🇿🍇

✨ What’s an interesting fact about yourself?

“Working at The Ramnee has allowed me to brush up on my non-native language skills, so I’ve really enjoyed this.”
