Logie Estate, in the beautiful Findhorn Valley, is home to Logie Steading Visitor Centre with its café and independent shops and businesses, River Findhorn Walks, playpark and Logie House Garden. The steading plays host to events and courses throughout the year from outdoor theatre to craft markets, art exhibitions, creative workshops and garden tours to mention a few. Logie Steading is at the heart of a traditional family-run working estate with farming and forestry, salmon fishing, Logie Timber Sawmill, interests in energy generation and the environment, as well as being the home of a range of independent and diverse businesses. BEHIND THE SCENES AT Logie Steading Bookshop

We often come across books
that have seen better days, with
broken spines and loose pages.
Rather than sending these off
for pulping we like to salvage
what we can. These books
often have beautiful illustrations,
interesting quotes or fonts,
diagrams, musical scores and
art prints.
We collect these pages and
make them up into collage
packs for you to get crafty with.
Each pack contains a mixture of
interesting treasures just waiting
for your imagination to give
them new life.

It's Fri-yay and there are lots of reasons to visit Logie Steading, the Cafe here being one of them. Tuck into a delicious breakfast, stay for lunch or just opt for an excellently brewed coffee and cake. On Sunday, head chef Jose wil serve up a roast beef lunch with the atmosphere being boosted by live msuic frm Gareth Bryant. A perfect weekend.

Celebrating 100 years since Logie Steading was built with an exhibition of photographs, voices, remastered cine film, tools & implements with contributions from people who have lived and worked here in the past and a wonderful scale model of Logie Steading created by the children of Primary School .

The Cafe at Logie Steading has added a twist to their popular Sunday Roasts - everything is now served in a giant homemade Yorkshire pudding making it the perfect way to serve lashings of gravy! Don't worry, it still boasts Logie Longhorn beef, reared right here on the Estate and will be served with a side of live music, today brought to you by Scott Ramsay who will be there from midday.
