Logie Estate, in the beautiful Findho

rn Valley, is home to Logie Steading Visitor Centre with its café and independent shops and businesses, River Findhorn Walks, playpark and Logie House Garden. The steading plays host to events and courses throughout the year from outdoor theatre to craft markets, art exhibitions, creative workshops and garden tours to mention a few. Logie Steading is at the heart of a traditional family-run working estate with farming and forestry, salmon fishing, Logie Timber Sawmill, interests in energy generation and the environment, as well as being the home of a range of independent and diverse businesses. The Cafe at Logie Steading is looking for a hard-working, fun-loving General Assistant to join its friendly and committed team.
Set in the stunning surroundings of Logie Steading, this is a great opportunity to work in a beautiful location as part of a welcoming, close-knit team. The cafe is open seven days a week and also boasts several fun events throughout the year, including a live music session every Sunday.
They are looking for someone who enjoys being customer-facing and providing great service with a smile, is reliable, hard-working and willing to get stuck in and is happy to turn their hand to a variety of tasks and help wherever needed.

We had to share this pic of Logie sent to us by his owner Angela. Yes, thats’s right, this cat is called Logie! He lives in the south of France and was named after his owner payed a visit to Logie Steading in 2023. We love this!

It gets you to wondering.. we do of course know of other places called Logie, but are there any other animals or people out there who share the name?.. we’d love to know!

Cullen Skink is possibly one of the most popular dishes served in the cafe here at the Steading. It's made from scratch using locally sourced products. Head Chef Jose and cafe owner Mags, pride themselves on using local where they can, and they are happy to share that the fish supplier is family run business Pro Fish of Aviemore.
