We are looking for a hardworking, talented and experienced Chef to join our friendly team based at our award-winning Scottish restaurant just outside Forfar.

We invite chefs from commis, chef de partie and sous chef level to apply.

We pride ourselves in offering high quality, freshly prepared seasonal menu’s using local produce and the successful applicant must have a real passion for preparing fresh seasonal food from scratch, be creative and able to remain calm under pressure.

Key to your success in this role is having a committed work ethic, enthusiastic attitude, willingness to learn, team spirit and desire to create top quality dishes for our customers.

*own transport essential due to our out of town location*

Hourly rate £14-£20 dependant on experience plus equal share of weekly tips

‼️ Emergency Power Cut ‼️

Hi Folks,

We are facing an unplanned emergency power outage effecting our area. We had no prior warning, there are engineers working on it but SSEN have advised they hope to restore power by 6pm.

We are extremely disappointed to have to close today, but without the power on there is nothing we can do.

If you have a booking with us today, we are incredibly sorry to have to cancel your booking. We will issue everyone booked a £10 voucher and hope to welcome you another time soon.

Our staff are currently contacting everyone booked by phone to explain the situation. Please be kind, once again this is in unexpected emergency power outage and is out of our hands.

The position:
~ Assist with menu development of seasonal menus & specials
~ Preparation of fresh ingredients
~ Support the Head Chef with managing the kitchen & running service
~ Maintain a clean & organised kitchen in line with health & food safety standards
~ Ability to work in a fast paced busy commercial kitchen environment
