Come and enjoy a walk or leisurely stroll around our extensive nature reserve. Our beautiful lochs and wetlands are home to a wide variety of birds and wildfowl and there is a well-maintained network of paths that everyone can enjoy whatever the season. At Murton Farm you will be able to meet our very friendly collection of animals and birds including Pepper and Gusgus our Pygmy goats, our Kune Kune pigs and rare breed poultry. Our play area has sand pits, pedal toys, trampolines and a variety of outdoor toys. Our tearoom serves light lunches and snacks, together with a wide choice of home baking. By visiting us you will be supporting our charitable work to provide land-based education to children and young people and help them into their first jobs. It seems quite a few items have decided they’d rather stay with us than go home.

We have a collection of lost property, most of which was left behind during our summer activities.

If you recognise anything that belongs to you, please get in touch with us and we can arrange a suitable time for collection.

Hopefully, we can reunite these items with their rightful owners!

Devon Carpet
Dusky-lemon Sallow

The last of the three, Dusky-lemon Sallow, is the first one Paul has seen in 20 years! Very cool for one to have been found here at Murton 🌲

We are so excited to have our finalised October Events👻

Come to our Murton Makers and create a spooky craft, or head to our family crafting event for some family crafting time!

Our much loved Tots at the Tipi will always make an appearance🕺

All bookings must be made through our website.

🌕Our anniversary event is free of charge! Just come to the green cabin on the day and join in our must loved fun run from Summer.

🌳Hidden Object Trail🌳

We are saddened yet again to be writing another post on our hidden object trail.

We have had our dinosaur toy, which was strapped and tied onto the back of one of our stops along the nature reserve stolen.

Our hidden trail is for many people to enjoy, and with many items now being stolen it is putting future event ideas on hold for similar trails around Murton.

We understand mistakes can happen, if you happen to find our toy or maybe know of its new home on our reserve please get in touch, or kindly return our item to the Tearoom. 🦖

We are aware of how quickly our summer events sell out, and we have had particular interest in our Hidden Object Trail🌸

There are now 4 extra days which you will be able to take part in our hidden trail.

🌳Please Read🌳
• The hidden object trail is only bookable between the times of 10am and 10:30am on the days listed above.
• It costs £3.50 to take part in our trail.
• There is limited availability each day for this event, it is on a first come, first serve basis. Once we sell out that is all we have for that date.
• On the days enter our Tearoom to book your spot.
