A ‘not so mini’ Kinder cake for Tracey

This beauty was made for Tracey, with plenty of delicious Kinder goodness inside and finished in the prettiest soft, neutral tones

I absolutely love how the denim blue and cream faux roses contrast against the creamy buttercream, I added delicate blue textured details to add extra touch of elegance

Simple, classy and a little bit extra, just how we like our cakes

🍂 HELLO SEPTEMBER! 🍂

How are we in September already?!

I don’t know about you, but I LOVE the fact that autumn is just around the corner. Cosy evenings, chunky jumpers, crisp mornings, changing leaves… and of course, ALL the autumn bakes! 🤎🍁

September is also going to be a very special (and emotional!) month for me as I’ll be taking a little week off 14th–20th September because my youngest is off to university to start the next chapter of his life 🥹

I honestly can’t believe I’m at this stage already! So I’ll be making the most my time with him before I send him off into the big wide world..

But before and after my little break, I’d LOVE to fill my diary! ❤️

Whether you need a big celebration cake, cupcakes for the office, brownies for a weekend treat, cookies, blondies or just a box of something delicious because… well, you deserve it

This isn’t just a change of name — it’s a new chapter.

As my business has grown, so have I, and I wanted my brand to grow with me. I wanted something that felt more timeless, sophisticated and reflective of the experience I want to create for every one of you.

So, welcome to Beauty Contained. 🖤

Think warm neutrals, natural wood, black details and a little touch of luxury.

I’m also creating a brand-new space behind the scenes, and I can’t wait to show you everything I’ve been working on.

A princess cake fit for a little princess! 👑

A pretty Lambeth style beauty for Indie, featuring two very special princesses — Princess Peach & Rosalina ⭐

This was a standard 6" Biscoff cake, packed with all the delicious Biscoff goodness and finished with pretty pink and turquoise piping, gold details, stars and those gorgeous princess toppers.

I’m slightly obsessed with how this one came together, so pretty, girly and just a little bit magical! ✨

A not-so-mini 40th birthday cake!

This one was a 'notso mini' chocolate cake made to celebrate a very special 40th birthday, packed with all the things that make it personal

⚽ And his favourite football team… Bingham FC 🫠

Now, here’s where things got VERY funny…

The brief from his wife said Bingham FC! and because I am a baker, not a football expert, I did what any reasonable person would do… Googled it.

And lo and behold… Bingham FC actually exists. 😂

So I printed the logo, popped it on the cake and sent it on its way.

Only for my customer to get home and realise she meant to write Birmingham FC 🤣

Cue us both absolutely cracking up over messages at the fact that there really IS a Bingham football club 😂

Honestly, I couldn’t have made that up if I tried! I think it makes the cake story even better and definitely memorable

A beautiful cake, a very special 40th celebration, and an accidental tribute to a football club nobody knew existed!!

A little slice of nostalgia… 🩷

This one was a proper throwback! A nostalgia cake inspired by the cult game Purple Palace, and I absolutely loved bringing this one to life

Bright, fun, a little bit retro and packed with those “OMG, I remember that!” vibes!

And because the outside is only half the story… this beauty was Kinder flavoured, because nostalgia is even better with chocolate!

✨ ELLIE IS 13! ✨

And what better way to celebrate becoming a teenager than with a cake packed FULL of all her favourite things?! 💙

This one was such a fun brief, Ellie wanted a little bit of everything she loves, and I was absolutely here for it!

The brief included:
🏎Formula 1, including some very specific favourite drivers
🗽 New York
🎶 Music
🎤 3 of Ellie’s favourite artists
💙 And, of course, lots of blue!

The result was this 2-tier beauty, a 7” + 5” standard tiered cake, with all those different elements brought together into one completely personalised design

And because we can’t forget the most important part… the flavours!

Bottom tier: Biscoff
Top tier: Salted Caramel
