So tomorrow is the day where grub by the greene takes on a new golf club and new challenge. I am looking forward to meeting all the Canterbury Golf Club members and visitors. I hope you enjoy the homemade sausage rolls and cheese and bacon turnovers 😉. I want to express my thanks to canterbury golf club for going above and beyond to make this happen. Having 2 clubs to look after is going to be a learning curve but one i know with the staff i have, we will smash it. The pic on the right was day 1 at sene…how things move forward. Canterbury Golf Club - Grub By The Greene are delighted to officially announce that we will be opening the halfway ‘horse box’ on 03/01/2026 situated behind the 10th green. We will be offering hot food, hot and cold drinks (including bottled beer), snacks, soups and Nicolas very own homemade sausage rolls and cheese and bacon turnovers that have been very well received at SVGC. Nicola, Steph and Chloe are looking forward to meeting all the members and visitors and will ensure you are looked after the best they can. We will be open Monday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday but open for any society/visitor days that requires us to be there. ⛳️

GBTG is delighted to announce that our home cooking facility in which we prepare, store and cook the home made pastries and sausage rolls was given a 5 star hygiene rating. Onwards and upwards and we will continue to improve what we do. 👌🏻

So he is finally here..our little boy..literally in love..and we’ve been finding it hard not to eat him 🥰 absolute perfection!..been getting use to Family Life..and all the things you need to remember just to get out the front door! One thing I do know is how much he is adored by soo many of our Family and Friends already..so thank you for all the love and gifts 🫶🏼

And he’s here in time for Daddy’s first ever Father’s Day being a Daddy!! Where do I start with Lee being amazing in every way..this man is our World..loving our Chapter we’ve started together baby..thank you for looking after us and continue to..you’re an absolute dream! I love how you’ve taken to being a Daddy - I knew you’d be the Best and can’t wait to make memories with our little Family! You deserve so much in life and I know your ‘Mimi You’ is here for that! To the member who seems to think stealing a banana is ok, please note we are not a food bank. If you have no money, we would probably let you have one for free but to just take it is totally unnecessary. We have had a few things sneakily stolen and not made a big deal of it but things are tight and it’s not fair. If any member sees another member acting this way please let us know. Please note this is not aimed at anyone other than the culprit as I know 99% of my customers wouldn’t do this. Love Nic and Chloe x

So today is the day…my last day before we welcome our little baby boy. I want to thank all my customers for their continued support and will be back before you know it. I will be floating about on the odd occasion as I will miss everybody…the hut will be looked after by Chloe and Millie so you are in good hands. Stay safe and see you soon…love Nic xx
