Hi All, as summer and the busiest period for us has finally ended, I wanted to share with you our new menu starting Friday.

The past few months have been very hectic with just me alone in the kitchen, but also very valuable for us to take onboard everyone’s feedback on areas we can improve on, we’re always open to suggestions and ideas as shown on our new menu!

We can’t wait to welcome you all through the upcoming winter keeping you all warm, well fed and well hydrated where my goal to keep pushing the sun to the highest standard will be the highest priority.

Keep an eye out for some huge news that I can’t wait to share with you over the coming weeks and thank you all, our valued guests for choosing us even through the hectic turmoil of hospitality!

🍒 COCKTAIL OF THE WEEK — CHERRY BAKEWELL 🍒
It’s here and it’s absolutely delicious — exactly like a Bakewell tart in a glass! We’ve blended smooth amaretto, rich cherry liqueur and crisp lemonade to create the perfect sweet, nutty, fruity sip. Trust us, one taste and you’ll be coming back for more — it’s a proper little treat! 🥃

Tomorrow we’ve got the wonderful Gabbie Clark performing live from 5pm 🎶 She’s brilliant — come along, relax, grab a Cherry Bakewell cocktail and enjoy some fantastic live music right here at your local!

Happy Friday everybody! We’ve had some amazing weather over the last few days so fingers crossed it stays hot over the weekend for you all to enjoy our beautiful beer garden 😎☀️

We also have some exciting news for you!!

Our Christmas menu is now live and we’re taking bookings for the day!

Be aware, we have very limited availability with us only being able to use our restaurant so make sure to give us a message or pop on in to secure your space!

The first sitting will be at 12pm followed by the second sitting at 3:30pm

Should you be joining us we will need all pre orders back with us by the 16th of December

We hope to see many familiar faces during Christmas day wether that be calling in for a quick pint or dining with us 🎄

We’re also serving fresh food all weekend until 7:30pm! So pop on down for some good food and a crisp cold pint! 🍺

This week’s cocktail of the week is also a fireman’s daiquiri, blending grenadine, rum and lime juice its balances sweet and sour and is sure to refresh you in this heat 🥵

🎤 Then from 8pm, Brendan McMahon brings his brilliant one-man-band show with a mix of crowd favourites guaranteed to keep the atmosphere going all night.

Happy Monday everybody!

Now that the World Cup is all over and finished we have a few things planned for you all this weekend🥳

Joining us this Friday from 8pm we are bringing something new to the sun inn!

We’re welcoming ‘Lizard’ an outstanding rock band 🎸

On Saturday our we have 2 guests coming to the sun inn!

Our main menu for food will be running from 12-2 but from 3pm we have the incredible Padres Mexican street tacos taking over our kitchen with some delicious food 🤤

And to top it all off! From 8pm we have Brendan McMahon taking stage!
Brendan is a one man band who will be bringing us all the best singalong and hits from multiple decades!

⚽️🌍 REMINDER WORLD CUP IS HERE – AND WE’RE SHOWING EVERY SINGLE GAME! 🌍⚽️
Yes, you read that right… at The Sun Inn Flockton we’re putting on ALL the World Cup matches we possibly can! 🏆 Big screens, proper atmosphere, and the beautiful game all the way through the tournament.
🍕 THIS FRIDAY – SAPORE ARTISAN PIZZA IS COMING TO US! Sapore Sapore🍕
From 3pm on Friday we’ve got the brilliant Sapore team setting up their authentic Neapolitan pizza ovens right here at the pub. These pizzas are the real deal – proper wood-fired, Neapolitan-style magic.
To make sure we can give 100% focus to these incredible pizzas, our kitchen will close at 5pm on Friday. So if you fancy something from the normal menu, get your orders in before then… but honestly? You’re going to want the pizza.
And throughout the whole World Cup we’ll be serving food until 9pm every day so you can grab a proper bite while watching the matches!
