It's a bit toastie but we are open and Happy Hour (2 hours) will save us all! Food all day with an updated menu and lots of specials. We are almost fully booked tonight for steak night but if you need to cancel because of the heat we understand and the £10 no show will be wavered without question. Stay cool everyone.

Hi everyone and Happy Fathers Day! We hope you have had a lovely day.
I have decided to close the pub Wednesday & Thursday next week (24th & 25th) while the weather is crazy hot to give the staff some well deserved rest and recuperation after a really busy few weeks especially the last few days in the heat. I also want to thank my amazing team for working their days off and doing what is needed in the line of duty recently. Now go and chill for a few days and enjoy the sunshine yourselves. See you all Friday when we reopen. We are sorry to cause any inconvenience to our customers but this i need to do. Thank you for supporting us.

Half price drinks as usual between 3.30pm and 5.30pm tomorrow and Saturday. The weather looks amazing so enjoy the garden and we have sun cream on standby if you forget. Try our homemade ice creams in waffle cones to. Have a good one everyone.

It's Thursday steak night once again. We have some beautiful British sirloin as always & and you can choose any pint or a glass of wine for free to go with your meal.

Another amazing day for the Flitton Potato Race. Well done Simon Sadler, all the organisers and volunteers. That was probably the best yet!

We have some good looking specials on over Friday & Saturday this week before we get into the Potato race BBQ on Sunday. Specials are always limited and once they are gone they are gone. We are still serving breakfast this Saturday and I am not sure everyone knows this but our license allows us to sell alcohol from 10am so if you fancy a mimosa or a prosecco with brekkie we have you covered.

We now stock Hawkstone Zero and i have to say its rather delicious. Our non alcoholic range is bigger than ever including ciders, many lagers and of course Guiness zero.
