A little update for everyone joining us on our Newmarket trip on Friday 14th August! 🩷

We’re getting closer, so here are the important timings for the day 👇

🍺 12:00pm – Jolly Coopers opens
Come down, grab a drink and get ready for a brilliant day!

🚌 12:45pm SHARP – Coach leaves
Please make sure you’re ready to go — we don’t want anyone getting left behind! 😬

🏇 Racing approximately 5pm–8pm

🎤 Craig David TS5 – live after racing! 🎶🔥

🚌 Back at the coach by 11pm at the very latest

📍 Top tip: When you arrive, drop a pin on your phone where the coach is parked. It’ll make finding your way back after the racing and concert much easier!

Such incredibly sad news to wake up to this morning. 💔

The lovely Sean Harley passed away early this morning after his courageous battle with cancer.

Sean really was one of life’s larger-than-life characters , hugely popular, incredibly generous, brilliantly funny and, even through the toughest of times, always so positive. He had that wonderful ability to make people smile and laugh, and his presence could light up a room.

It’s hard to imagine not seeing that familiar face and hearing that infectious laughter again. He will be deeply missed by so many, and we feel very lucky to have known him and to have shared so many laughs and happy times with him over the years.

Our hearts go out to Nicola and Ciaran. We are sending you both so much love and our deepest sympathies at this incredibly difficult time. ❤️

Rest easy, Sean. You were one of a kind and will be very fondly remembered by us all.

Tonight, and many times to come, we’ll raise a glass to you. 🍻❤️

We’re looking for an experienced pub cook to join our friendly village pub team.

If you’re confident running a lunchtime service, enjoy cooking fresh, traditional pub food and take pride in keeping a well-organised kitchen, we’d love to hear from you.

⏰ Hours:
Monday–Friday: 11am–3pm
Monday & Tuesday evenings: 5pm–9pm
Plus holiday and occasional weekend cover.

💷 Up to £15 per hour + tips
Depending on experience

🚗 On-site parking
🍽️ Friendly, relaxed village pub
