Mentorship – Supporting groomers to grow

01/10/2026

🐾 **Grooming starts with trust.**

Some dogs find grooming worrying. Having their feet touched, hearing the dryer or standing on the table can feel difficult—and every dog has their own reasons.

I take time to understand what each dog finds challenging and adapt my handling to support them. That might mean a different approach, a slower pace, breaks or shorter appointments to build confidence gradually.

With over 40 years’ experience, I know that small steps can make a big difference. I work with your dog, watching their body language and respecting their limits. Their comfort and welfare always guide what we can safely achieve.

If your dog struggles with grooming, please tell me about their worries and what has helped before. Together, we can work towards a calmer, more comfortable experience. 💚
