We just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone that came to our opening on Saturday. It was wonderful to see such a great turnout - especially those who are local!
We couldn’t believe how busy it was!
We hope you’ll all become regulars and friends.
We’re open as usual now whether you want a meal or just a friendly pint!

This Sunday marks our first full Sunday lunch service as the new owners of The Stags Head Inn, and we’d love to welcome you.

We’re delighted to be continuing the traditions that have made The Stags Head such a special part of the community, while we settle in and get to know everyone over the coming weeks.

Join us this Sunday from 12:00pm until 2:30pm for a traditional Sunday lunch, freshly prepared and served in the relaxed surroundings of the pub.

Whether you’re a regular visitor or joining us for the first time, we look forward to seeing you.

🍻 **A New Chapter Begins at The Stags Head Inn** 🍻

We are delighted to announce that **The Stags Head Inn is now under new ownership.**

As many of you know, The Stags Head has been at the heart of the local community for generations, and we are honoured to be taking on the next chapter of its story.

We'd love the opportunity to introduce ourselves and meet as many of you as possible, so please join us on:

Good morning, hope you’re all well. This is the last time I’ll post on my page, the pub will shortly be in new hands, and Sally, myself and my boys will walk away feeling proud of what we’ve achieved.
We wanted to thank you all and our wonderful team for your amazing support over the years. We love you and and will miss you.
Good luck to the new owners.
Thank you also to John, my rock and support till the day he died.

Good morning all, time is ticking on, only 4 days trading at the Stags Head, but we’ll be leaving the pub in the safe hands of Tim and Michelle Woodman who will love it as much as we have.
Those of you who have known us well will know that we have always been plagued by the rumour makers so just to set the record straight, 1, the thatch has recently been done, 2, we have had everything checked for safety, they will NOT need to rewire, it was done a few years ago and safety checked a month ago. Obviously bring an old building, work is ongoing, and Tim and Michelle will no doubt improve on what we have done, the rooms will be upgraded, but the pub will carry on. We’ll miss it of course, but please, from my heart, you know who you are, don’t spread rumours about things you don’t know, and the rest of you, don’t listen. We’ll miss you all. 😥

Good morning! Looks like a sunny day, I cannot really get my head around the fact that in 12 days we will leave our lovely pub for good. What a journey it’s been, and what great times we’ve all had. We close after lunch on Father’s Day, and on Friday 26th we hand over to the lovely Tim and Michelle Woodman. I hope you’ll make them welcome, and I’ll miss you all. In the meantime, packing and sorting this week and next, with a horrible throat thing, and a flare up in my RA. Not the best time. I’ll miss you all ###
