Well the finalist pack has arrived 😃… I have submitted our supporting statement of why we should win and next I have to attend a live cook off in Manchester and be judged on my fish frying 😬 it’s all exciting stuff. We have everything crossed for the awards on 22nd June. Thank you again to everyone that voted 🐟 🥔

Fishy Friday is back again 🐟 🥔 😃 it’s the last weekend of the school holibobs and our feet are just about hanging on in there.. These are our times for Friday and Saturday evening and the brekkie will run until Sunday at until 11am when we will be hanging up the aprons for a well earned rest after an excellent week of hot weather ☀️ and lovely customers 😁 👍 Thank you all so much 🙏

Open from 4:30 every evening 🐟 🥔

What a fantastic weekend ☀️ absolutely roasting and the staff have done a cracking job in this heat keeping our customers fed and watered. It’s not over yet as we are open all week this week including our little kitchen@crows nest for breakfast sandwiches 🥪 🥓 🍳 from 9 to 11am every morning. Our burger bar with be closed until Thursday evening. We have received some lovely feedback and good luck messages for the upcoming English Fish and Chip Awards. We were left a fantastic review on Tripadvisor which I would like to share with you all. Reading this makes the heat and wrecked feet all worth it. Thank you for this amazing review.

Announcement 😃 We are sooooooo pleased to reveal we are finalist in 3 categories for The English Fish & Chip Awards 2026 🐟 🥔 and it’s all thanks to you our customers for putting us forward and the hard work from our fantastic team in the shop. It’s coming up to Spring Bank Holiday and the weather is looking good ☀️🤞 we will be extending our opening hours for the full week. We are open every evening from 4:30 for fish & chips 🐟 🥔 from this coming Friday 22nd through until the following Saturday 30th.

We are also offering breakfast sandwiches 🥪 🥓 🍳 every morning from Sat 22nd to Sunday 31st between 9am to 11am.

To top it off and as a little addition to fish and chips we will also be opening for a range of burgers 🍔 hot dogs 🌭 and fries 🍟 from our little kitchen @ Crows Nest. This will be open from 6pm to 10:30pm for those that will need feeding before or after the live entertainment in the bar 🎤🎼🎸
