Roseberry Cottage is a community based enterprise, based in Trimley, we run a pop up community café on Wednesdays and Thursdays, supporting adults with learning disabilities

We are accredited with Suffolk county council to provide care services

Lisa will come out and give your club or group a cooking demonstration within the Felixstowe area and tell you about our work and values.

When we re-open on Wednesday August 5th we will have a couple of changes.
Firstly we will be opening 30 minutes later at 10.30am instead of 10am, this gives the team just a little bit longer to prepare and get ready to open, as a community Café we want the whole team involved and so this time gives us that.
Also we are having to register for VAT as our main organisation and so we now need to add VAT onto our prices in the café, so the prices will have to go up, this won't benefit us with increasing costs as it is vat and will give us more work but it does need to be done I'm afraid!!!

Our booking system this year will be a little different
we will only book 1 week at a time, we will announce the activity and lunch and then open bookings
We wont be able to book people on if they don't turn up the previous week without letting us know, its disappointing for us to have food go to waste if you are a no show and for others who could have booked on to the activity

Me: so we have next Thursday spare what does anyone want to do?

O: ohh yes go on a train
Me: ok so we could go on a train to felixstowe and go somewhere for lunch or go to Ipswich
G: how about prezzos
Me: yes we could go to prezzos or we could get a bus to the viewing point for lunch , what’s everyone fancy
Let’s vote- who’s for the train idea? All hands raised

All: no train to prezzos
So that’s it folks next Thursday we are getting the train and having lunch at prezzos!!
