Get ready to welcome back the incredibly talented JJ Welles to Loca Bar & Restaurant for an evening of his West End favourites & all the songs you secretly know every word to.

From the show stopping ballads to his pure Irish charm, JJ brings the magic of musical theatre straight to Felixstowe, creating the perfect soundtrack to your evening. We start off the week here at Loca with some incredible news…

Our amazing General Manager, Karis, has been nominated in the Rising Star category at the Flamingo Business Awards 2026!

Category finalists are announced on 9th October 2026. The judging panel will review all entries with finalists being contacted via email. This is when the public vote opens. 80% of the judging is handled by our expert panel. 20% is a public vote so we’re sure you’ll get behind her when the time comes but for now, CONGRATULATIONS TO KARIS ON YOUR NOMINATION!!

“CHECK ONNNN!!”

Another Sunday, another mountain of tickets conquered. To our incredible chefs Jonny, Chelle & Nick, thank you! It’s been another scorching hot day in the kitchen, yet every time that kitchen door swings open, all we hear is giggles, cackles & the sound of a team that somehow still manages to enjoy every minute together.

Behind every plate that left the pass today was hard work, team spirit & an incredible amount of dedication in temperatures most people wouldn’t want to spend 5 minutes in (owners included LOL!)

Thank you for pushing through the heat, keeping the standards sky high & making another hugely busy Sunday service happen. So head out the back door, give each other a high 5 & have a couple minutes rest… before your washing up starts 😉
