🤣🤣 SHOCK ANNOUNCEMENT… WE’RE HAVING A WEEKEND OFF!! 🤣🤣

Yes, you read that right… The Crag & Coffee will be CLOSED this weekend! ☕️

It’s been sooooo long since we actually managed a whole weekend off that we’ve decided it’s time for a well-earned rest… before we forget what one feels like! 😂

So there’ll be no bacon butties, cakes or coffees from us this weekend — we’ll be putting our feet up, recharging the batteries and trying very hard not to think about sausage rolls! 🤣

But don’t worry… we’ll be back fresh, bright and raring to go on Saturday 3rd October ☕️🥓🍰

After yesterday’s blustery weather, today is looking bright, sunny and practically perfect for a walk on Farnhill Moor. 🥾🐾

So get those walking boots on, bring the dog and come and enjoy our beautiful Moor — and of course, no walk is complete without a stop at The Crag & Coffee! ☕️🍰

We feel so sad and disappointed to see that someone has decided to carve their names into our newly restored Pinnacle. 😔

So much time, care and effort went into restoring this much-loved local landmark for everyone to enjoy — and now someone has chosen to damage it by carving their names into it.

It’s especially upsetting as the lovely lady who made the restoration possible is travelling all the way from California and will be visiting the Pinnacle. We were so looking forward to her seeing how wonderful it looks following the restoration.

We have now reported the damage to the police. After explaining what has happened, they confirmed that we were right to report it and that it is being treated as criminal damage.

To whoever did this — We really hope you’re proud of yourselves. Something that means so much to our community deserves far more respect.

Please, let’s look after our Pinnacle and keep it special for everyone. ❤️
