Named in tribute to local cricket heritage, you’ll find us on a former pitch known as “The Oval”, where Surrey once played. 🎉 Are you looking for somewhere for your next celebration, meeting or special occasion?

Here at The Ball and Wicket, we have a private function room upstairs that allows you to celebrate all walks of life and all kinds of functions. Whether you're planning a birthday party, an engagement party, a baby shower or gender reveal, a wake or a corporate meeting, then our spacious function room is one that will provide an ideal setting for bringing people together.

🥪 We also have a wide-range of food on our buffet menu and are able to cater for any dietary or allergy requirements, as well as teas and coffees for those who want a little something warmer. The layout is purely flexible to suit any kind of gathering, with decorating allowed to help you enjoy your special day.

The Ball and Wicket are pleased to have been asked to be the starting point for the Summer Run on Sunday, June 28th.

A car meet that join us regularly in our car-park will be starting their journey from our car-park before they embark straight down the South Coast as they show off their range of vintage cars and motor vehicles.

From 8am, they'll be parked up and ready to start their day, and spectators are welcomed to join us, and them, as we watch them depart for their drive down at 8.30am.

Refreshments will be available throughout the morning and our pub and kitchen will be open from 9am for a wonderfully cooked breakfast if you wished to join us afterwards.

We look forward to seeing you next weekend!
