Popadoms For almost 15 years Popadoms has been serving the finest Indian food. Come and visit us soon. Basu took over Popadoms in February 2009.

Our highly skilled chefs create mouthwatering dishes from spicy to mild to suit everyone’s taste. Popadoms opened in 1996, since then we have served thousands of meals here in the restaurant and also via our

e trained and gained vast experience in 5 star hotels across India and Nepal. They have the great knowledge to combine and balance the spices to create the finest quality and best tasting dishes. Our head chef also has a great deal of experience from working in some of the UK’s highest profile Indian Restaurants and has experience of catering for the former Prime Minister Tony Blair and his staff at 10 Downing Street in 2005. This is where he met Basu, the owner of Popadoms and they quickly became friends. The restaurant was already famous for serving the finest Indian cuisine locally since 1996. Basu and his team look forward to serving you as a customer, either in the restaurant or as takeaway customer. That’s it, children are back to school tomorrow. Why not treat them or yourselves to a takeaway to celebrate. Wishing all the children good luck tomorrow. You know the saying they are the best days of your life. (I’m not sure about that) 😂

Tried chicken bhuna tonight for the first time and it was lovely. Lots of vegetables and tender chicken. It was delicious.

What new things have you tried lately? Does not have to be related to popadoms, could be a new challenge, a new hobby, a new job.

We have had a great weekend serving all of our customers piping hot fresh food. Hope everyone is enjoying the bank holiday weekend even if the weather could be slightly better. We will be back on Tuesday raring to go.
