Due to financial difficulties, the company has ceased trading.

A little reminder that Sip’n’Stitch is back next Tuesday (1st September) between 7 and 9 pm - and will now be happening every week.

Bring your knitting, crochet or hand‑sewing and enjoy a relaxed evening with a drink included for £5 per person, and 10% off in the shop.

It’s the perfect way to unwind, meet other makers, and make something lovely - although I need to add a disclaimer here...we tend to natter and drink more than we create - but the intention is there 😁

Good morning, whilst the shop was closed last week, it didn’t mean that work had stopped - far from it! The planning for the workshops and creative calendar was finalised, and just in time for the amazing Ally The Peculiar Pear to come and re-paint the board in the shop.

A Good Yarn - Wickham is open again, from today ready to start celebrating Hampshire Open Studios.

A Good Yarn will be taking a short summer pause next week.
With the extreme heat and some temporary staff shortages — holidays and one of our lovely team needing time for important medical tests — it feels like the right moment to take a breather, look after everyone’s wellbeing, and reset.

This little pause gives us space to prepare for an exciting creative season ahead 💚💗
We’ll be reopening on 22nd September for Hampshire Open Studios, with 10 days of make‑and‑take crafting fun. After that comes our autumn programme of workshops and cosy crafting sessions.

Thank you for your understanding and for being part of our wonderful community. Your support means so much. We’re looking forward to welcoming you back refreshed, ready, and full of creative energy.

We will be closing on Friday 14th August at 2pm and re-opening at 10am on Saturday 22nd August for the Hampshire Open Studios event

We kicked off our birthday weekend with a very late night out watching the amazing RED HOT CHILLI PIPERS Wickham Music Festival
Today is our 1st Birthday 🎉🥳🎁🎈🎁🥳🎉
