🌸 Beyond the needles: What crafts should we bring to our next Crafternoon Tea?

🍰🎨We had the absolute best time at our recent Crafternoon Tea collab, pairing a delicious afternoon tea with beautiful watercolour painting! It was so special to watch everyone unwind, chat, and try something completely new together.It got us thinking... we want to make these creative afternoons a regular treat, and we want to expand our menu of crafts way beyond just knitting and crochet. We want A Good Yarn to be a vibrant home for all things handmade!

I am very excited to be hosting Christine Boggis, Editor of The Knitting Magazine, for lunch today. And how amazing that this month's magazine is an "In Bloom" version, with Wickham in full bloom, ready for the Wickam in Bloom next week

The transformation is complete!!
We've been busy behind the scenes doing some serious tinking and frogging to completely rearrange the shop. It took some serious unravelling and reworking, but the final project us looking brilliant!!

It is going to be another incredibly hot day, I don’t like this heat, and Nova (my lovely fluffy Frenchie) is struggling with it even more than me 😢

A Good Yarn will be closing at 2pm today so we can try and cool down.

The sock class this evening 🧦 - in collaboration with Twinkly Knits has been postponed - it’s even too hot in the shop to knit 😮. Everyone who is on the course should have received an email with the plan to extend the course by one week.
