Ok, I know some of you are probably thinking, why does she leave & come back again? Fall down seven times, stand up eight as they say. I never gave up but in the midst of trying to make things work, most of you already know I lost my mum, & whilst I’ve been away, I also unexpectedly lost my brother. It’s been a really tough ride. I’ve been trying to figure out what is meant to be for my life; I’ve tried a different career, but it wasn’t for me. Baking is my thing; it is my therapy & I have missed it so much, so here I am, back again, tempting you all with my creations! New York Crumb Cake is the star of the show..
Back story.. I had my son Barney in 2018; whilst on maternity leave, I started baking- a lot. I had worked in catering for around 12 years in total. So I started up my own baking business; I created Barney’s Bakeshop (named after my son) in 2019. New York Crumb Cake soon became a huge hit with a lot of you guys after my collab with The Chocolate Smiths. They created the most amazing chocolate bar ever, containing my Cinnamon New York Crumb Cake & Cinnamon Caramel, all stuffed inside the creamiest white chocolate. You all went mad for it & things went crazy! I was so grateful for that experience. Since then, things have been up & down; it’s been challenging but that’s life. I’ve just been trying to figure it all out; it wasn’t how I planned it all to go, but we move! Anyway, who fancies some Crumb Cake?
