⭐️It’s time for a History Lesson! ⭐️

Have you heard about the stunning history of our grand building? We’re proud to have one of the grandest and most stunning Lounges around!

Palacio was built in the mid 1800s as municipal buildings in Falmouth on the Moor, with the original building dating back to 1856 as a Fire House and Town Hall. It then became a Magistrates court from the early to mid 1900s (the cells are still in the basement!).

Above the front door reads “Dieu et mon droit” which is the royal motto of the UK, accompanied with the UK coat of arms. It means “God and my right” in French, and has been traced back to the mid 1100s when it was thought to have been used by Richard I as a battle cry.

Come and see it all for yourself! We’re full of history and our entire team loves sharing our knowledge about our building that we all love!
