The Club is now closed through Christmas and New Year, Tom and Antonia hope to open up in late January so please do watch this space for more news.

Mike and Nigel's tenure of the Club has now ended but they don't intend to disappear all together and will hopefully see you on one side of the bar or other over the coming months and years. If not there in some other local hostelry no doubt!

Mike is sure to carry on cooking in some guise and Nigel is hard wired to sell wine so look out for some interesting offers. Nigel and Debs are also looking to offer a dog and/or house sitting service in 2023.
They will all still be contactable on their PNYC email addresses.

Finally. On a personal note (Nigel speaking) I just want to say how much fun we have had running the bar and restaurant for the last 5 years. Both Mike and I have been in hospitality for over 50 years (ok, so I didn't get the hospitality bit😂) and what a great place to have rounded off our careers! Thank you to all of our customers and especially to Ant and Tom whose support and encouragement have been unwavering especially through COVID.

Let's raise a glass to our quirky little hut by the river.

Regatta day! Hope to see you all down there today, it all kicks off at noon with prize giving around 5pm followed by the music. Please remember to bring cash and change for the stalls and the bar.

We are looking for someone to help out front of house on Saturday evenings through the summer and early Autumn, other shifts will be available but Saturdays are the main requirement. Jenny Parshall Memorial Service
Jenny’s family have asked me to let all her friends know that there will be a Memorial Service for her at St. Constantine Church on Tuesday 31st May at 3pm. This will be followed by a cricket tea at the Trengilly Wartha Inn - to which all will be welcome. They have requested that in order to see how many to cater for you let us know (perhaps on this post) if you are planning to attend. Thank you.

With Spring and Summer just around the corner the Bar and Restaurant will be needing some part time staff pretty soon. High summer is the really busy time but we'll be open Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights through until then. The main role will be front of house but we all muck in wherever needed.
