Joyfuel at Pendra Loweth — thank you & goodbye 💛

After a lot of thought, we withdrew from the tender process last week, which means Joyfuel won’t be continuing at Pendra Loweth going forward.

This place has been a huge part of our lives. Over the last three seasons we’ve poured our hearts into building something warm, welcoming and genuinely joyful — and we’ll always be proud of what we created here with you.

To every customer, owner, guest, supplier and friend who came in, supported us, brought family, danced at events, tried the specials, or simply said hello — thank you. You made it what it was.

We’ll share practical details (last openings, timings, bookings and next steps) as soon as we’re able. In the meantime, we genuinely wish the site — and whoever takes the reins next — the very best, and lots of luck.

With love,
Hazel & the Joyfuel team ✨

JOYFUEL Updates… 🌊

First off — thank you so much to everyone who’s reached out lately with kind words, enquiries, and bookings. It really does mean the world.

We just wanted to let you know that we’re still waiting on a final decision from the board regarding the future of the café/bar at Pendra Loweth. As soon as we know more, we’ll share an update.

In the meantime, we’re still behind the scenes — prepping, dreaming, and holding onto hope for another season of community, creativity, and connection by the sea. 💛

We know many of you are eager to plan events, visits, or just a coffee in the sunshine — and we can’t wait to welcome you back as soon as we get the green light.

More soon — very soon 🤞
Team Joyfuel ✨

❤️Winter hours update… ❤️

Thank You for 3 Incredible Seasons!

We’re incredibly grateful for the support, laughter, and community you’ve brought to Joyfuel over the last three years.

It’s been a privilege to serve you at Pendra Loweth.

As we now pause operations during the site’s re-tender process for 2026, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to every guest, owner, neighbour, and team member who made the last three seasons so special.

If you’d like to know more about our tender application, or share your thoughts and feedback, we welcome open and transparent dialogue with owners and guests at any time.

Although this is an unexpected situation for us, we welcome the opportunity for change and discussion.

With love, as always

✨ ✨ Have you booked for dinner? ✨

Everything we serve at Joyfuel Café is cooked from scratch — no shortcuts, no pre-made bits, just real, good food made with love (and a bit of Joyfuel flair 💛).

Because of that, and with the time of year slowing things down a little, we’re running bookings only for dinner.
If you’d like to join us, please book before 10AM on the day, or ideally 24 hours in advance, so Chef Hazel can plan and prepare something truly special for you 👩‍🍳✨

🍴 Food: 5–8PM
🍸 Bar from 4:30PM (closed Wednesdays)

And here’s a little update — due to a few operational tweaks behind the scenes, our website has had a gentle downsize, making booking tables a bit easier. If you see a slot available, that means we’re ready to cook for you! 🙌

This Tuesday 21st October, Chef Hazel’s bringing tacos back in the house 🌮🔥
Served with a beautiful spicy soup — it’s going to be a warm and flavour-packed night.

📍 Book your table online: www.joyfuel.co.uk

Come hungry, come happy — we can’t wait to see you soon!
