Falmouth Food Co-op

Falmouth Food Co-op Welcome to the Falmouth Food Coop (FFC). GROW πŸ₯¬ with us at Loveland: our 8-acre organic community field in Penryn.

BUY πŸ›’ with us at FFC Grocery: Falmouth's ethical supermarket alternative. EAT 🍴 with us at FFC Kitchen: 70,000+ warm meals. Falmouth Food Co-op CIC is a co-operative community interest company to benefit the people of Falmouth and Penryn, as well as the wider bio-region by promoting the production and consumption of agro-ecological
food. We aim to support small-scale local producers with an ethos of low ecological
impact and make this good healthy food accessible to everyone in our
community at affordable prices, or for free. We strive to build community
resilience and participation and improve the health and well-being of local
people as well as our local ecosystems and economy. We have 3 projects that work towards these aims. Between our Grocery,
Kitchen and Loveland projects we encourage the community to buy good food
from us, eat good food with us and grow good food with us.

Early-mid summer scenes on the farm. Shot on film by Kasia Murfet | socially engaged facilitator, photographer & Finn.

What has been, and still is, an intense but abundant year.

1. Finn amongst the two-sisters, Squash & Corn. One of many days that felt like we were farming in the tropics β˜€οΈ. ( Kasia Murfet | socially engaged facilitator, photographer)

2. πŸ… Tomato jungle! ( Kasia Murfet | socially engaged facilitator, photographer)

3. Food for the soil. Our homemade compost πŸͺ±( Kasia Murfet | socially engaged facilitator, photographer)

4. Rachel β€œtwissling” (such a great word) cucumbers πŸ₯’ .

5. Stunning Echinacea! One of the herbs we have in the corner of our polytunnels to attract pollinators & natural predators 🐝 Or for us to sit and admire for far too long…

6. Another look at the the two sisters 🌽( Kasia Murfet | socially engaged facilitator, photographer)
