Good morning! What a great start to March! It’s the day before our first seashore forage and one month before we start our second Wildbiome challenge. There are over 100 people taking part and it is a self-funded project. If you can support us all with a small donation that would be amazing - thank you! Link via Linktree in bio.

Before the freeze…..I was checking what was beginning to emerge in my garden at work. Nine different edibles within a few metres of each other. Can you name them all? In April Christine and I will be eating only wild food for a month as part of Wildbiome 2 ()
Two years ago we took part in the first Wildbiome project with 24 others and enjoyed a number of health benefits and achieved the month-long challenge of staying away from any processed food. We will be raising funds to help cover some of the testing costs soon so any help will be greatly appreciated. Watch this space….

A lovely weekend at the inaugural British Wild Food Festival at Hawkstone Follies, Shropshire. Lots of chat, lots of food, plenty to see and do in a wonderful setting. Christine and I manned the Association of Foragers stand and led a couple of family foraging sessions.
In the second picture- can you spot the young mushroom? 🍄‍🟫
