π‘ What is going on with Just Eat?
As a small business, we work incredibly hard every day to provide good food and service to our customers. Every pound we earn is hard-earned.
What is extremely frustrating is seeing money taken from our business through refunds for orders where we believe the situation has not been fairly assessed.
For example, we recently had a refund issued relating to Irn-Bru β a product that we supply NOT Cook. π€¦ββοΈπ‘
Large corporations may see these refunds as small amounts, but for a small independent business, every pound matters.
We believe the current system can put small businesses at a disadvantage, while the platform has the power to make decisions that directly affect our hard-earned income.
This is one of the reasons we have decided to gradually move away from Just Eat.
We will be reducing our Just Eat availability step by step β starting with every Tuesdays, when we will no longer accept orders through Just Eat. We will gradually add more closing days until we are completely offline from the platform.
