This week at Nature’s Corner:

Thursday — sourdough pick-up from 12pm, pizza from 4pm.

Saturday — bakery pop-up from 10am-2pm, plus community site tour with Juliet Moore at 10am. Bread, coffee, pastries, a first look at the build, and the story behind some of the materials beneath our feet.

From the bread to the bricks, we’re trying to build Wild Things with care. These are Kenoteq bricks, made from over 90% recycled construction and demolition waste. They are unfired and designed as a certified low-carbon alternative to conventional brick. For us, that matters. The building should reflect the same values as the food: craft, circularity, seasonality, integrity and connection to place.

Something very exciting is happening at Nature’s Corner this Saturday 🌿

We’ll have the bakery counter full, lunch being served, and for the first time, a little behind-the-scenes tour of the new Wild Things site with our architect, Juliet Moore.

Juliet will be sharing the plans, talking through the thinking behind the building and giving you a first proper look at the space that will soon become our permanent kitchen, bakery and shop.

Lunch will be all about what’s coming from the market garden right now - and with tomato season in full swing, expect plenty of beautiful, properly ripe tomatoes on the menu.

Come and eat, have a nose around and see what we’re building. We’re incredibly excited to finally start sharing it with you.

Another week closer. Pizza nights, bakery pop-ups, build progress, questions at the gate, people finding us for the first time. It still feels early, but the rhythm is beginning: food now, a permanent home coming, and a community slowly forming around it.

Blackberries are in, so expect a special blackberry Danish alongside the usual suspects: sausage rolls, crème pâtissière doughnuts, buns, and fresh bread.
