To all our valued customers and suppliers, it is with a heavy heart that this post is to confirm that as of today, Mackays of Eyemouth, has ceased to be in operation.
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all of the customers who have come from far and near over the years - your business has been very much appreciated.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank my team who have been by my side through everything, it's been a rollercoaster that's for sure!
At this moment in time, the chip van will also be off the road until I evaluate what the future holds - I know this will be a disappointment to our regulars in Duns, Coldstream and Kelso - I'll miss your cheery faces and endless banter but at this time, I need to take stock for my own personal wellbeing.
It's now time to take a break and reflect on what has been a difficult and emotional couple of years and think about what's next.
