✨Tickets for Mercatum 2026 are now on sale ✨

Following the huge success of last year, which saw Mercatum named in the UK press as one of the top ten Christmas markets in the country, this year’s event promises to be bigger, better and more captivating than ever, taking place over a 6-week period, from 11th November – 20th December.

As in previous years, Mercatum 2026 will take place in the beautifully decorated rooms, galleries and courtyard of Medieval Haddon. Over 750 talented artisans and makers will showcase their work over six weeks, with artisans changing each week, creating a luxurious and unique Christmas shopping experience. You’ll find a diverse range of crafts, including ceramics, art, chocolates, jewellery, candles, artisan stationery, perfumes, and much more, both inside and outside the Hall, all set against a truly festive backdrop.

As you explore medieval Haddon Hall, you’ll discover magnificent Christmas trees, twinkling lights, live music, warming food and drink, and a truly magical atmosphere that has made Mercatum a highlight of the festive calendar.

🎄Tickets are available for:
• Morning sessions (9.15am – 12.45pm)
• Afternoon sessions (1.00pm – 4.30pm)
• Green Travel tickets (arrival any time before 3.45pm, travelling by bus, bike or on foot – you are welcome to stay all day!)
• NEW Twilight tickets (3.00pm – 4.30pm), perfect for experiencing Mercatum as dusk falls and the Hall sparkles with festive lights.

Mercatum will run Wednesday to Sunday throughout the festive season (closed Mondays and Tuesdays) and tickets are expected to sell quickly so pre-booking is essential.

🚴‍♀️ The Tour de France Femmes is coming to the Peak District - and they need YOU! 💛

Stage Two of the Tour de France Femmes Grand Départ 2027 will pass through some of our most loved towns and villages on Saturday 31 July 2027, including New Mills, Whaley Bridge, Buxton, Tideswell, Castleton, Chapel-en-le-Frith and Glossop on the route from Manchester to Sheffield 🌄

To help make this world-class event unforgettable, organisers are looking for 9,000 volunteers - known as ‘JOY Makers’ - to help bring the excitement and joy of cycling to communities along the route 🙌

If you’ll be aged 16+ by 1 April 2027, you can apply now to be part of this incredible event.
