Job Title: Food Production Manager (Day/Night Shift) - 2 Vacancies
Location: Tq5 0LL
Hours: Full-time, 45 hours per week (Day or Night Shifts)
Salary: £24,000 - £30,000 per annum (Depending on Experience)
We are currently seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals to join our dynamic team as a Food Production Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, overseeing the production of delicious sausage rolls, cheese straws and other products. With two vacancies available, one for the day shift and another for the night shift, we welcome candidates who thrive in a challenging and rewarding role.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise food production operations during the designated shift (day/night)
- Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards throughout the production process
- Oversee the preparation, cooking, and packaging of sausage rolls and cheese straws
- Coordinate and schedule staff, ensuring adequate coverage and efficient workflow
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of ingredients and materials
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain a clean and organized production area
- Train and mentor production staff, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement measures to enhance efficiency and productivity
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a food production or manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
