🍔 NATIONAL CHEESEBURGER DAY — STUBBY-FY IT!

This Friday is National Cheeseburger Day, and we want to see what YOU can come up with.

Grab a Cheese Smash and STUBBY-FY IT your way.

Choose from any of our garnishes and sauces for FREE, then if you really want to go for it, add any of our premium extras and upgrades at their usual prices.

Go sensible. Go ridiculous. Just make it yours.

📸 Post a snap of your creation and tag us.

We’ll pick our favourite and put YOUR BURGER on the Stubby’s specials board for a week — with a name of your choice.

And when your creation hits the specials board, you’ll get the first one on us. 🤘🍔

🔥 WE’RE HIRING – 2 x BBQ CREW MEMBERS 🔥

Stubby’s is looking for two new people to join our crew at Topsham’s Old Fire Station!

⏰ 8 hours per week
🌙 1 weekday evening shift
🔥 Must be available alternating Fridays & Saturdays
➕ Additional hours may be available as and when needed

This is an all-round role where you’ll get involved in pretty much everything – prepping food, building and finishing dishes, serving customers, keeping things moving during busy services, cleaning and closing down.

We’re looking for people who are:

🔥 Reliable and dependable
🔥 Friendly and comfortable dealing with customers
🔥 Able to keep their cool and work well under pressure
🔥 Happy to get stuck in wherever needed
🔥 Keen to learn, develop and grow with the business

Customer service or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential – full training will be provided.

Although the contracted hours are 8 hours per week, there may be opportunities for additional hours to cover busy periods, holidays and other shifts as needed.

More than anything, we want people with the right attitude. Someone who wants to learn, takes pride in what they do and wants to become a valued part of a small team – whether they’re working 8 hours or more.

Since opening at the Old Fire Station, we’ve been trying things out, testing menus and, most importantly, listening to what YOU want.

And the verdict was pretty clear… you want all the options, all the time.

So, from Wednesday evening, we’re simplifying things. One menu. Every day.

And this time, we’re not telling you how to build your food. You are. 👊

🍔 Stack your burger with whatever extras you fancy. 🍟 Mix and match your favourite toppings and load your fries your way. 🔥 Or, if you want something you can’t get anywhere else, dive into one of our Smokehouse dishes — now served with fries, pickles and that insane Stubby’s Carolina Mustard.

Basically… all the food, exactly how YOU want it.

‼️ NEW MENU ITEM ‼️

You asked, we listened. Non-meat options are COMING.

First up…loaded fries with halloumi, roasted red peppers, pickled red onions, crispy onions & pesto mayo 🔥

I made this at home and put it in front of my toughest critic - the wife. Verdict? Chef’s kiss. ✅

(Feta is also joining the party here - we just forgot it for the photo. She’ll be there, don’t worry.)

Another one of Stubby’s specials, and this one’s not for small appetites 🍔🔥

The “Smoked Stack” brings double smashed burgers, fresh rocket, tomato, and pickles together with smoky burnt ends, crispy onions, and our Stubby’s southern-style mustard mayo.

It’s smoky, saucy, crunchy, messy-in-the-best-way… and stacked high enough to need a game plan before the first bite.
