After 11 years of lots of highs and literally zero lows, I’m in a melancholy mood to announce I’m closing the stand in the Guildhall.
Why? I have other food business ventures which have grown and now require my full time attention, which is great but sadly leaves me little time to give the stand the love and attention it needs.
What will I miss? Cooking cheese steaks in the Guildhall and watching people look over hungrily! The wonderful Guildhall staff that have looked after us so well, come rain or shine! But the thing I will miss the most are our fantastic customers. You have all been incredible, be it one time customers (not many didn’t come back I hasten to add!) or all of our brilliant ‘regulars’. I will miss you all.
Dan’s American Kitchen and Dans catering Co. are still very much operating, you can find us running the catering and hospitality at Exeter City FC and at various corporates and events across the county and country.
Thank you to my friends, family, the staff, customers and the weird people who just came up and stared at the stand, you have made my past 11 years a pure joy.
To say goodbye, I will be opening the stand for two last days on THURSDAY 11th and FRIDAY 12th January, hope to see you there!
