ABOUT RODEAN RESTAURANT

Once a former butchers, converted into a restaurant in 1983. Our family took over in 1999 and over the past fifteen years, the Rodean and it's team have worked hard with our main aim to provide consistency throughout. Changing seasonal menus, Wine & Dine Evenings and special dining events supporting as many local producers as possible. We love to do what we do and are grateful for all the support our guests have given us over the past years.

Writing this post is incredibly difficult, and we do so with a very heavy heart. Our beloved Walter passed away on Friday last week, and we are heartbroken. We believe he had ingested rat poison. By the time the vet had eliminated other causes, the symptoms were too far along. We feel sick to the stomach that this has happened.
It’s unbelievable that he’s gone so young. I’ve noticed a few people have seen me walking with little Skyler without her little Walt by her side. Rest in peace, brave little man ❤️
