☀️ Heatwave update ☀️

After trying to brave it following the first heatwave, we’ve made the decision to reduce our opening hours again this week.

The combination of the high temperatures and humidity means it’s becoming incredibly hot behind the bar, and the wellbeing of our team has to come first. It will also give our hard-working coffee machines and equipment a chance to cool down a little too.

Our opening hours will be:
🩷 Wednesday 8th: 7am–2:30pm
🩷 Thursday 9th: 7am–2:30pm
🩷 Friday 10th: 7am–2:30pm
🩷 Saturday 11th: 8am–3pm

We’re sorry for any inconvenience these changes may cause, but we hope you understand why we’ve made this decision.
We’ll still be here bright and early serving all your favourites – coffee, breakfast, lunch and plenty of iced drinks to help you stay cool! 🧊☕️

We’re sorry for the late notice, but following the latest forecast and continued heat warnings, we’ve made the decision to close early onFriday 26th June as well.

⏰ Friday opening hours: 7am–2pm

We know last-minute changes can be inconvenient and we really appreciate your understanding. As a small independent café, the wellbeing of our team has to come first, especially with the temperatures we’re expecting. It will also help give our hard-working coffee machines and equipment a bit of a break after a very hot week.

We’ll still be here bright and early with plenty of coffee, breakfast, lunch and iced drinks to keep everyone going. ☕️🧊

☀️ Updated Heatwave Opening Hours ☀️

Following the updated weather forecast and the extension of the heat alert into Wednesday and Thursday, we’ve decided to continue with our earlier closing times for a few extra days.

The temperatures being forecast are exceptional for the UK, and we’d like to do our bit to look after our team and give our hard-working coffee machines a chance to cool down too!
