Just back from a study trip to the Norwegian Fjords alongside the winners of the National Fish and Chip Awards 2026. Whilst on board the longliner Geir I managed to grab half an hour with the Norwegian Minister of Fisheries to discuss the white fish supply chain and the importance of the fish and chip industry as a market for Norway.

I even got an hour fishing in myself from the lighthouse in Alesund

Sad day at Skippers today as the fabulous cloughnaomi has left us after 13 years as shop manager. Naomi has been not just a great person to work with but also a great friend and will be missed by the team and the customers. I hope she enjoys her new role and I am sure she will smash it.
