THIS ONE IS FOR YOU!

Twelve years in a row we have been inspected without warning when Environmental Health appears unannounced at our door. Meticulous inspection of paperwork (and there is plenty!), a full interview before a thorough physical inspection of all food areas and storage.

It is NOT for the faint hearted but we know ourselves that the lengths we go to feed you all safely makes it all worthwhile. A big thumbs up and onwards we go.

Our aim is the same as it's always been - go the extra mile and feed you all safely. You can check all hygiene ratings online so you can make sure that places you are planning to visit meet the standards to feed you safely and are following the rules. It's hard work but you guys are worth it 👍🏻❤️

⁉️🤔⁉️Why do we ask for preorders for bread, pastries and milk?

The answer is simple. To avoid foodwaste. ✅

We've tried many different ways of doing things over the years and can say with absolute certainty that it is impossible to predict customer buying patterns. We could have a fully stocked bread display one week and it will sell out. We would do the same the next week and most of it ends up in the bin or being given away for free because it doesn't sell.

So preordering is what we do.

Bread, milk and pastries available on Fridays. Orders close the previous Monday.

We are very grateful for everyone who supports us in this way and we would love to welcome you to the Friday Bread Party 🥳🥳 You can order using the link below. Collections from 9am to 3pm for bread and 12pm to 3pm for milk on Fridays. Some also collect on Saturdays.

Very (very) occasionally, we struggle for words to describe just how bloomin' privileged we are to be doing what we do and for meeting all the amazing people who have helped us along the way.

When Sandra walked through the door all those years ago offering to come and work for us, she pretended it was because she wanted to get out the house and keep in touch with the public. One of the many things that Sandra has spent her life doing was walking the beat in Dundee as a copper and she said she missed the chat and talking to folk.

In truth, Sandra was actually sent here to change our lives and she did just that. You just need to spend a few moments in her company to know she is a special lassie and once you scratch the surface you begin to really appreciate just how much she downplays everything she has achieved in life.

This gong is just the latest addition to an amazing catalogue of achievements for her tireless charity work to support young people across Scotland. She toddled down to Windsor Castle to have a quick cuppa with the future King.

If you met Sandra during her time here, you will understand how much we miss her now that she has moved away a bit further east and north. You'll also understand that chatting was her superpower, just slightly ahead of her singing with her spelling coming a close third. We never realised that broccoli could be spelt so many different ways.

Sandra has also asked us to point out that she is "no standing doon a well" - but Prince William is just "really tall". Love you Sandra and thank you for being utterly you ❤️❤️

We've been nursing our cacti for the past 12 months while they've been sleeping, so they've been gracing our tables in their nekkid sleepy green state over the spring and summer. But now they are starting to waken again and we spotted some new colours peeking out this morning. It's a glorious sunny Saturday here in Errol so pop along for some cosy soup and cake and see if you can spot any more new blooms 😍 here until 4pm
