We’ve had a lot of requests about whether we will be opening our doors for Christmas this year…

So I’m here to announce that for the first time in our 26 year history, The Khyber will be open on the 25th December 2026 for afternoon dinner.

I do apologise, I know it’s a bit soon to be mentioning the C word, but we couldn’t contain our excitement and had to share this wonderful news!!

We’ve got a special set menu in the works and it is nearly ready, just a couple little tweaks to make before we share - you can expect release later this week/early next week with full details.

We hope to welcome you on the big day, for you to enjoy being served your Christmas dinner the Khyber way.

And from us all, thank you for your custom and support.

Feels like yesterday I wrote a little post to our younger diners wishing them all the best on their exams, and the big day has soon come around…

So once again, we all at The Khyber would like to wish you all the greatest luck in the world when picking up your results tomorrow!

No matter what the piece of paper says, your potential in both life and the workplace can’t be measured by a test alone - it’s things such as your passion, ambition and character that defines you.

And if you’re looking for a place to celebrate, why not join us at The Khyber like your parents may have done at some point in the last 26 years 😆. all jokes aside we hope you have a wonderful time wherever you decide to celebrate❤️

I know it's not as much of a big deal to celebrate as our silver birthday, but the Khyber turned 26 yesterday.

Thank you to all customers who chose our humble establishments to satisfy their curry needs - we couldn't of done it without you ❤️

And honestly we can't believe it been a year since we had the Restaurant all decorated out for our 25th birthday, crazy how time flies!!

Phase 1 of our exterior works has now been complete, and our woodwork no longer look like a million different colours of grey and red whilst it was a work in progress.🤭

In the sunshine, she sure does look beautiful!!

Now on to phase 2, awaiting the new signage to complete the look.

We are having some work done to our building and our outside will be looking a bit run down as we are having it stripped back to barebones.

The 2025-2026 Khyber Premier League winner, on the Sun dream team is…

🥁🥁 Paul Jackson (or sir Paul Fergie as he likes to call himself now..)

He survived the final sprint against Amir, dodgy tactics from Hezz, and just Khans normal rubbish 🙃.. well done!!

Here’s a picture of him and Tuffayel with this years trophy and his £70 vouchers.

We will be starting up another league closer to the new seasons. We hope you can join us in thrashing the team 😀.

Unfortunately we won’t be opening today (Saturday 30th May 2026) due to a power cut.

We was hoping to have our doors open by 8pm, however the guys aren’t having much luck.

We apologies for the inconvenience caused, and hope to see you all again soon.

Epworth has had a power cut and it’s happened on our block…

Due to the unforeseen circumstances, we’re gonna have to cancel all our bookings for the night, and won’t be taking in any takeaways orders till later on.

We have been advised that we may regain power at 8pm potentially, but there is no guarantee.

Please accept our sincerest apologies, however this matter is out of our hands🥲
